* Our Archaeological Park has been outlined and excavation has been going on for a while. From what has already been unearthed we know the artifacts go back to before the time of King David. Select areas are being studied and documented. Those areas that will prove historic will be preserved while those areas that prove irrelevant will be freed up for certain improvements. Use of the very best (and most appropriate) materials and technologies for homes – the choice of materials in the homes will take into account, among other things, strength, weight, thermal and insulation qualities. Our objective is to exceed standard building practices.

* Solar energy will be exploited in line with real technology advances. Only proven methods will be  implemented and upgraded with progress.

* Careful analysis of site and home positioning to maximize solar orientation benefits. This will include blocking the sun in the hot summer days while offering opportunities to fill indoor spaces during the winter with warm, natural light and minimizing dependence on artificial lighting.

Note: Many of the latest technologies are currently under study for future implementation, including photovoltaic energy, grey-water systems and Ground Source Heat/Cool Pump (GSHP).
